Celebrate Portland - 11 hours of scrapbooking FUN!!!
Charlotte got to spend the day at Grandma & Grandpa's house and play with the puppies. Here she is tonight hanging out with Victor before her bed time.

1600 scrapbookers working at the Portland Expo Center.

Susie got a little carried away with her tape runner and stuck her page to her arm.....

This year they had a nautical theme.....a good time was had by all.

She just couldn't stay awake....AGAIN!
Guess she got worn out tonight...I drug her to JoAnn's & Fred Meyer...I'm getting ready for the big 11 hour Scrapbooking Crop at the Portland Expo center tomorrow from 9am-8pm and needed to get some work done in the loft, so I put her in her swing and gave her the rubber stamp she LOVES to chew on...next thing I know she's out and the stamp didn't make it very far away from her mouth......too funny!

Fun at Shirley's House
The WeBees had our monthly meeting at Shirley's house tonight. Can't you tell by Charlotte's face in this photo that she had a great time. Shirley brought out her dominoes and Charlotte seemed to LOVE chewing on them. So much that one "stuck" to the top of her shirt at the shoulder (2nd photo).

Ouch...that hurts! YEAH Colts!!
Victor told me to look down from up in the loft and this is what I saw...had to run down and take a picture of them....totally cracked me up!
Other good news...TOUCH DOWN! Peyton and the Colts are in the Super Bowl!!! I had to leave, couldn't take watching it....luckily I missed the fact that they'd been down by 18 points...only to come back and WIN 38 - 34 (those Patriots have enough Super Bowl rings)! My boyfriend is finally going to the big game! NOTE: Victor & I joke about "my boyfriend" being on TV everytime his Mastercard comercial comes on...that commercial totally cracks me up.

Chika-Chika and Oooh - La La (with Donna Downey)
I must explain the title of this blog entry! Susie, Doralisa and I got to take a fun class this afternoon from the one and only "Donna Downey". Okay, most of you reading this blog have never heard of her, but she's this really cool "scrapbooker" that has the coolest job on the planet. She gets to TRAVEL and TEACH classes to all us crazy crafty folks out there. Donna's favorite color is "green", so we made her a little lunch bucket present with her photos and sayings on the outside and inside and gave her some cool kiwi colored yard to KNIT with. She has just recently added that to her list of crafty things to do. We also gave her some chocolate covered pretzels and Suz gave her a bunch of her "Cincha" bags! Back to the TITLE of the blog entry. If you look real close...you'll see our name tags. Doralisa was named "Chika-chika" and when Suz & I got there DD decided that we were "Oooh & La La"....I love it! It was a great couple of hours and we had a great time.
Here we are with our final projects! Thanks Donna for coming all the way out to ORE-GONE!
THANK YOU Aunt Susie! Susie made Charlottee a Bee Mine - Build-A-Bear for an early Valentine's Day gift. She named her "Bee-Atrice"....It's so funny...I'd actually seen the bee costume at Build-A-Bear two weekends ago at the mall and debated making her one...glad I waited! Charlotte LOVES the chewing on the hearts.

Winter Wonderland.....
We had an unexpected snow storm this morning in the Portland Metro area. When I left for work at 5:25am it was just a light dusting of snow pellets. Less than an hour later the snow was coming down big time. We had about 3" of snow here at home with much more snow in the higher elevations. Victor and I took a short walk to check things out and play a little in the snow. Mom/dad kept Charlotte all day and will keep her tonight, it hasn't warmed up above freezing, which means tomorrow morning will NOT be fun for the morning commute.
The neighbors had built a couple of snowmen in their front yard.

A couple more photos from Saturday
Here's the whole gang after 2 games of Cosmic Bowling. The girls won the first round...the dudes the second! You can tell we are getting old....11:30pm and we were all ready for bed..... lucky for us by the time we got home before midnight, somebody had fallen asleep and we were able to put her in her crib and she didn't wake up until 6am! Thank you Charlotte for letting us sleep in Sunday morning!Mommy & daddy got away to the beach for a night!
There was still SNOW on the beach from Thursday's BIG snow storm that hit the Oregon Coast. It was cold, but mommy & daddy had a great time at the Hallmark Inn. THANK YOU Don, Sue & family for the gift certificate. Mommy & daddy had a great time.

Relay For Life of Hillsboro...has officially begun!!!
We had our 5th Annual Relay For Life of Hillsboro kickoff event tonight...it was a HUGE success! We now already have 26 teams paid/registered and on the website. www.acsevents.org/relay/or/hillsboro
My photos turned out blury, so I'm hoping to get a copy of someone else's to post more photos. Here's the entire Relay Planning Committee before the event began! We are going to "Reach for the Stars -- Reach for a Cure".
Mom, Victor and Charlie were in attendance tonight. THREE of the main reasons that I Relay. I never, EVER want my daughter to hear the words that my mom & husband have both heard "You've got Cancer"......Join me, my family and friends to help find a cure!
