Weeks 25 - 28...

4th of July...

9th birthday party celebrations...

We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with a few school friends along with the Hoffman Family.

We asked where she wanted to go out for a special meal, The Melting Pot was her choice.  She loved it!

Sunriver....

Mom's 70th...

Mom's birthday was on the 13th, but Victor was working and I had a meeting late afternoon/early evening...So, we celebrated on Saturday night!!!  

So very thankful for all the time we have...never know what tomorrow will bring!!!

Never knew how much you can truly love another human being, until you give birth to one!!! 

New Year's Eve...

Pedicures with Grandma Cina and Great Grandma Charlotte...

It was cold and very rainy today in AZ.  We took the grandmas to get pedicures.  Then, after dropping Great-Grandma off at home, the 5 of us headed south for the rooster ranch, only to find out they were closed due to weather.  So we just kept driving to Tuscon for ice cream at Culver's.

Joe's Farm Grill in Gilbert...

This place was featured on Guy's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.  HIGHLY recommend.  We hadn't seen this episode, but my father-in-law had friends who had been there before.  Two big FORKS UP!!!

I had the grilled Peanut butter and banana split sandwich with awesome rosemary fries!

Beautiful trees that had signs posted all over NOT to climb on them.  We know why, they were SO tempting to climb!

Grand Canyon...

We left at O-Dark thirty.  It was over 270 miles to get there.

Kiddo did a little sleeping int he back seat of the mini-van.

Last time I was here was 45 years ago.  My folks left me with the pilot's wife as they flew into the canyon.  NOW I can officially say I've been here as an adult and will remember it forever!

We moved into Parkside Ave exactly one year and a day ago.  Blink, can't believe how quick that went!  Very grateful!!!

East Coast adventure 2014...
