2010 was a very good year for our little family of three.

• Kathy & Victor both celebrated their 41st birthdays
• Charlotte turned four
  
• Victor started worked at Intel, then didn't and is now working at Intel again. THANKFUL and GRATEFUL for employment for both of us!
  
• Charlotte continues to LOVE school!!
• Charlotte started taking gymnastics and so far loves it!
  
• Kathy enjoyed another amazing year as the Event Chair of the Beaverton Relay For Life and is continually amazed at just how Relay brings us closer together and closer to a CURE!!!
• 2010 will FOREVER be the year of the Turtles and the Letty's Bags!!!
  
• Charlotte continues to grow into a beautiful and funny little girl
• We spent many days at the Oregon Coast
• Kathy & Charlotte spent 2+ weeks in CA with Kathy's parents and got to spend a great 3 days at the Happiest Place on earth with the Green Family Unit!
  
• Went snowshoeing only once this year, but hope to go many more times in 2011
• We had lots of fun with family and friends
• We are blessed with good health and look forward to a fun and fabulous 2011

Three Little Oertells....

We had a great time with Kaitlyn, Megan and Emily. Our friends Julie & Chris were celebrating their 9-year anniversary and we had the girls come hangout with us tonight so they could have a real date!

They brought Charlotte a Panda Pillow Pet...she was thrilled! The kiddos all did great and now I'm ready for bed!

Just BEE-cuz...

she's been SO good today....she wanted to wear part of her bee outfit and she let me take photos and a new $1k club video (which I'll be posting next)...love you pud!

Ten on Tuesday...

1. Wow...only 3 more days left in 2010...
2. Christmas was wonderful...Charlotte had a blast and we are SO blessed to have at least one set of Grandparents only a hop, skip and jump away!
3. Rain or rain, go away, bring "just a little" snow today (well, tomorrow or Thursday please)...
4. Christmas tree and all the trimmings are packed away until next November - YEAH!
5. Is hoping for a wee bit of snow either tonight or tomorrow morning...just a wee bit!
6. I LOVE Costco!!!
7. We are still getting happy holiday snail mail! The cards/photos are staying up until at least February on the back of our door!!!
8. Is excited about babysitting THREE of my friend's girls tomorrow night...Charlotte is going to have a blast with them!!! :)
9. I'm debating on "officially" starting Couch-to-5K...I don't want to be a runner, but I need to move it move it more and thinking running might be they ticket....
10. So excited about our Relay For Life of Beaverton Kickoff Party...just 3.5 short weeks away!! Kickoff flyer designed by the lovely and talented, Sonya Olsen!!!
    

Christmas Day continued...

After our own little family Christmas gifts and presents from Santa, we drove up to spend the day with my parents.

Lots of laughs, fun gifts and then more FOOD! Dad makes a great flank steak -- YUMMO! Too much yummy food...it's a tough job, but somebody has to eat it!

Christmas morning...

The Pud slept in...Victor went to wake her @8:45am. All he said was, "Charlotte, Santa was here last night, you should come downstairs"....we've never seen her shoot out of bed so fast!

He ate all his cookies! (No more cookies for Santa or Mrs. Claus)...

Charlotte has been a very good girl. She was fortunate to get a lot of clothes (mainly PJs) and a ton of dress-up clothes! Her big gift from Santa, a giant doll house with flushing sounding toilet and piano too! 2 1/2 hours to build and her smile was priceless!






From our home to yours! Merry Christmas!

We will be heading up to my parent's home soon to spend the day with them.

May you remember and rejoice in the REAL reason for the season! Happy Birthday Jesus!

Christmas Eve with friends...

Karen/Garland and Susie/Shawn came over for our annual "Wargaming Buddies" Christmas Eve dinner.

Victor made lasagna, meat balls and sausage along with his Frettura Dolce (sweet fritter). Susie & Shawn brought salad, garlic bread and a wonderful floral arrangements and Karen made YUMMO apple/caramel cheesecake..I think we all gained 5 pounds tonight!

Lots of great laughs and one mean game of PRINCESS Chutes and Ladders (Garland was victorious)!

Now we are just waiting for Charlotte to go to sleep, so Santa can leave a few gifts...she's on the "good list" this year...she was even wearing the shirt to prove it!
