Mother's Day...

Mother's Day was celebrated on Saturday since Victor works on Sunday.  After Charlotte's birthday party, we met my folks for dinner/celebration at Red Robin...celebrating more birthdays and Mother's Day.  It was a great weekend!

Holly and Charlotte

Charlotte was a HUGE helper on Sunday after the quilt show.  Melissa and Holly put her to work picking up all the clips used to hang the quilts.  She had a blast!

20 years of We Bee Quilters...

How blessed are we?  I've known these ladies for 20 years...yes, I was a wee babe when we started meeting up monthly at each others homes.  Each year we go to Black Butte Ranch and the Sisters Quilt Show.  We've been through so much together.  I'm a better person knowing and being friends with each one of these amazing ladies...here's to the next 20...Yes, I'll be driving the special bus by the next 20, but it's ALL good!

Melissa, Holly, Margaret, Chris, Barb, Melinda, Janice, Ginger, Patti, Andy and I.  Missing Viv & Jenny.

Oh mice...

I wasn't going to post these until Andy discovered all her little hidden mice that we left her Saturday night. She sent us a very nice email with the tale of Little Moe and all his found brothers!

Kudos to Melinda for the wonderful idea and supplying the mice...turned out wonderful and we all know how Andy loves a good mystery!

WeBees Annual Christmas Party 2010...

As always, our WeBee Quilters Christmas Party at Andy's home is one of the highlights of the holiday season for me! Andy truly is the hostess with the mostess! She leaves no detailed undone....she manages to top herself year after year and I'm always amazed where she comes up with all her ideas, considering Google is not her forte....

When we arrived and I saw the ginger bread house she had on display with the cheese and crackers, I told her it looked just the like one we had made this morning at Intel with Charlotte. She kinda looked at me funny and at the time it didn't dawn on me WHY she looked at me funny....well, fast forward until after dinner and QUILTO (which I FINALLY won this year---and I get the cool trophy for the entire year), Andy then tells us what our "activity" will be for the evening....YOU guessed it, we were each making a ginger bread house of our very own....we had a great time...folks got really creative and I think it's safe to say we all ate too much of the building supplies (candy)...

I'm so blessed to have known most of these ladies for the past 20 years...we are all so lucky to have each other in our lives. I'm a lucky girl and I'm so very, VERY grateful to have them as dear friends!

Chris & Barb, we miss you guys! Jenny, we are sorry you couldn't be with us tonight, but we know you had a great time at your concert!

Merry Christmas my We Bee Quilters!

Sisters 2010...

Charlotte and I headed over to Black Butte Ranch on Friday morning. Ginger, Melissa, along with Melissa's parents (Obie & Mary) and Melissa's Aunt Mary (all visiting from Florida), were already there. Charlotte did okay, but Saturday she really didn't want to be at the show, once we got there...grrr....

We had a nice time at the pool Saturday afternoon, then a long walk with everybody down thru the meadow!

I've been going to Sisters with my WeBee Quilters since 1992...pretty awesome group of friends I'm lucky to have in my life! Lucky that they don't mind spending a couple of days with a 4-year old who was only "Sybil" part of the time! This was the least amount (3 of us) that stayed at the house...the other house had 5 of them...next year, NO Charlotte, just the grown-up girls!!

Here are a few photos from Black Butte and a few from the 35th Annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show!
