FINALLY, she road her bike!!!

I was starting to wonder if this day would EVER get here!!  She decided to try, try again after me telling her like a thousand times that riding a bike was easier than her skooter!  She did it and can't stop riding it now that she "gets" it!!!

I'd been wanting to take the kiddo up here, finally decided and had a great time touring the inside and enjoying the great views of Portland from the outside!!!

That day 10" of my hair was cut...

 Little did I know when I went in to get my hair colored and cut (for the first time in 18 months) that I was gonna get 10" off to donate!!!

Darcy made the suggestion and I'm so glad she did!  Hair headache from the weight of my hair instantly went away and I'm one HAPPY CAMPER!!!

FG Sushi...

Our favorite local place to eat lunch/dinner is FG Sushi.  Victor gets sushi and Charlotte and I get teriyaki!  Yummo!!

Thankful, always thankful...

FG sidewalk chalk art...

FG has an annual chalk art festival in September.  Charlotte had acting class in the early afternoon, but we were able to check things out when we got home.  SUPER COOL!!!

Date day...Portland Art Museum....

When Victor and I started dating in early 2005, I had Mondays off from work and he was working Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights until 6am.  What that meant was we had Monday afternoons off to spend together.  

The one thing we never managed to do, because it's closed on Mondays, is go to the Portland Art Museum....today, we finally got to go!!!

Braces coming off the day before Halloween??

Hopefully the 'last' time to go in for a slight tweak of her braces...She should be getting them off October 30th!!!  :)   She got them on August 6, 2013!

The Sunriver house...

So, my parents sort of purchased a vacation home in Sunriver this summer while I was on sabbatical.  It was rented out the entire summer, so mom & dad finally headed over in early September and will be there until mid-November or the first real snow hits....which ever is first!  

Victor, Charlie and I headed over for a quick 36-hour visit to check things out.

Can't wait to spend more time over there next spring/summer.

The kiddo and I have done this hike together once before.  It was a perfect morning, only a couple of stops (due to me, not her) on the way up....Love living in the PNW!!!

Gifts for teachers...

Each year I crochet something for Charlotte to give to her new teacher.  This year I made a few more pencils so she could give them to her 3rd grade teacher, her 2nd grade teacher, her principal and the librarian.  She also like them so much I made one into a key chain and she has it on her back pack!
