Fun at the Woodburn Tulip Festival

Doralisa, Charlotte and I drove down to the Woodburn Tulip Festival this afternoon. We got super lucky.....no crowds and it didn't start raining until we were getting ready to leave....Charlotte seemed to have enjoyed herself!

Spring has Sprung!

What an AMAZING day we had today. Not sure what the tempature hit, but it was SUNNY and WARM! We took Charlotte out for a nice long walk this afternoon around our neighborhood. The park down the street was so busy that we didn't even attempt to get her in the swing...we just kept walking.....even tried on her new baby sunglasses....she likes trying to chew on them more than wearing them.

Lemons & Drum Sticks...Oh My.....

We met DL & Phil for dinner tonight at the Old Spagetti Factory. DL thought it would be fun to see how Charlotte liked sourdough bread & lemons. Here's her reaction to the lemon....

We got home and decided to have a little more play time before bed. Charlotte's piano/xylophone have two "drum sticks" to use....we finally cut their string off so she could play with them...she decided it was more fun to carry them around the living room.

Tickle Time.....

Nothing makes me smile more than when these two start "tickle time"....Charlotte KNOWS when Daddy is gonna start tickling her and she just laughs and laughs and then starts snorting! It's PRICELESS!

Sleeping Beauty and a BAD HAIR DAY!!!

I'm sure I'll hear all about this later in her life...but I just HAD to take a picture of Charlotte and her HAIR after she woke up from her nap (when I got home from work)....Needless to say she got a BATH right after these photos were taken.

Happy 30-Something Birthday Shawn.....

Here's the whole gang....Victor, Charlie, Kathy, Glenn, Josi, Shawn, Susie, DL & Phil...we had a great dinner at Abhiruchi's in Beaverton (say that name fast three times)???

Shawn needed a little help from Charlie opening up his birthday cards.

This photo needs a MAJOR explanation....Phil accidentally flipped one of his shrimp across the table during dinner, but couldn't "find it"...Susie (lucky girl) FOUND it on top of her plastic sack when we getting ready to leave.....it was quite the scene...guess those shrimp really are slippery little suckers!

The rec. center did a great job and having the gym time and our own room was a great idea! Thanks Kim & Andy for having us at the party, we had a great time!

Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of Andy & Kim or Kim's folks & sister, or Andy's sister, brother-in-law or his nephew Austin (who were all there today also).

Amy's friends from her play group were there, but I only get to see them once a year, so I wasn't as snap happy with their photos as I was with Matthew, Gabe, Ava & Karla....Plus Amy & Madison spent a lot of time RUNNING around and I'm not the best at taking action shots.

But WHERE is Charlotte's GREEN? She was wearing green for part of the day....fell asleep in the car, so we missed the Hillsboro St. Patrick's Day Parade.....then we had to do an outfit change, so just red/white stripes tonight!

Cutting More Teeth.....

#3 has popped thru on the bottom gum and #3 & #4 are popping thru on the top.....you wouldn't know it from this photo, but she has been more cranky than normal today.

Don't ask me what she's doing...just being silly tonight.
