Field Trip...

Today I was one of MANY parent chaperons for the three first grade classes trip out to Duyck's Peachy Pig Farm!  Two busses, 75+ kids and lots of fun!
Kayla, Charlie, Aliyah, Camielle, Mia and Monet.
Our bus waiting to unload.
Charlotte and Kendall writing in their farm journals

This little piglet is only ONE DAY OLD!

Each of the kiddos got to pick 1/2 pint of strawberries to take home.  YUMMO!

A day at the zoo...

Charlotte and 20 of her classmates, along with 11 parents and two teachers went to the zoo today! The weather was great, all the kids were pretty darn good and Victor was totally pooped out when he got home!

Not sure how it happened, but Charlotte and Cassandra got paired up again on this field trip. They make a good team!

YEAH for field trips and happy little 3 and 4 year old kiddos!

Field trip time...

I was one of the 7 parents that went with Charlotte's preschool class (all 3 year olds) and her two teachers. Seventeen kiddos and they were all really, REALLY good. Half the fun was getting there on our light rail system. It's only a 5 minute walk from school. The kiddos loved it.

Each adult was buddied up with one or two kids. Charlotte, Cassandra and I were the three amigos for the day...what a sweet girl.

I was pretty exhausted, but not because they were unruley, it's just tough being around a bunch of little ones that long when you aren't use to it. I'll be volunteering again the next time they go on a field trip...it was FUN!!!
