Election Day 2008...
No TV planned for our home tonight...I'll probably check before I go to bed, but I won't really believe anything until one of the candidates calls the other to congratulate them.
Funny thing on the way home from my appt. in Beaverton tonight. I made the MISTAKE of taking the wrong street tonight to get to Costco. Luckily there were 4 of Washington County's finest directing traffic (for all those crazy people that waited until TONIGHT to turn in their ballots...hello people, you've had them for over TWO WEEKS)...THEN, I get to Costco to fill-up my car and find out from the very nice Costco employee filling up my car that things are finally getting better at the gas line. Apparently there have been enough impatient/rude Costco members that the police were out giving tickets to folks this morning. Must have worked, everyone was super nice while waiting in the line tonight...Gas still $2.19 a gallon.
Why I smiled today...Got this photo from Kel..can't wait to see these guys in just over 2 weeks!!! It'll be great to have a mini-family reunion up in Redmond, WA and then Thanksgiving up at my parent's home.

Pumpkin Patch & Gas for $2.34 a gallon...
We had PERFECT weather this weekend...I still can't believe just how beautiful it
was when we flew home yesterday. It was TOO nice not to go to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island today. I did get us lost (thanks Rachel & Tim for getting us headed in the correct route), but we wouldn't have seen Mt. St. Helens and all those geese flying if we hadn't had the 10+ mile detour.
I also couldn't believe that gas was only $2.34 a gallon at Costco! I thought $2.78 in Casa Grande was cheap!
