Westside Quilter Guild Retreat...

What a wonderful weekend with the Westside Quilters!

Melissa is part of the guild and had invited me to be part of this great weekend!

18 of us spent Friday & Saturday nights at Our Lady of Peace Retreat Center in Beaverton. The meals were YUMMY, the creative goodness was outstanding and the friendship and laughs were the best! ;-) I only knew Melissa before the retreat, I now have 16 more friends that I can't wait to spend more time with...YES, I'm gonna join their guild, even though Monday nights aren't the best for me (they have their guild meetings on Monday nights). Oh and my 6 degrees of Kathy Cina moment...Sue, who has her own on-line quilting shop is married to Wayne who I know and use to work at Intel with me...it's a SMALL Intel world after all....

I've been to a few retreats over the past 15 years (I'm not counting my weekends & Sisters trip with the We Bee Quilters), but this was without a doubt the most fun, relaxing and PRODUCTIVE retreat I've been a part of (even with me leaving for a few hours on Saturday to attend the Easter Egg Hunt).

I personally made 4 Letty's Bags (photos will be a separate post since the bag recipients haven't seen them yet and they do read my blog), one pillow case and more turtle parts...I even sold 3 turtles to 3 of the ladies (100% proceeds going to Relay For Life).

THANK YOU Westside Quilters for a great weekend. A special shout out to Julie, Sue, Shirlene, Darla, Jean, Steve & Sharon from Sharon's Attic and all the rest of you that contributed to the wonderful weekend! I love all the goodies we received..super cool!

Here's all 18 of us outside the main building (while we had a break in the rain this morning)....
