Annivesary dinner #9...

Victor has to work on our anniversary, so we had a wonderful time tonight celebrating a few days early at The Melting Pot.

91 years of marriage between them...

Terry & Lil were dropping off Marilyn back home and came out for a quick overnight to visit mom & dad. We came over to hang out for a few hours and visit. Perfect summer night with family! Love it!!! Terry & Lil just celebrated their 45th anniversary in July...between the two couples, they've been married 91 years! AWESOME!!!

Thankful Thursday...

Super thankful that my folks are willing/able to watch the widget for a couple of nights so Victor and I can get away to the Oregon Coast for a few days of "us time"... Belated anniversary gift from my folks..THANK YOU Mom & Dad!

We haven't gone anywhere over night and left her with them since mom's crash...Charlotte's excited, my folks are excited and VICTOR/MYSELF are super-duper excited! There's a football game on Sunday too...GO GIANTS!!! (photo circa 2008 the last time the Giants won the Superbowl)...repeat, I say OH YEA!!!

Happy 45th Anniversary Mom & Dad....

Happy 45th anniversary to my parents Dan & Linda!! We will be going up today to the ICU to spend the day with mom and she'll be having surgery #4 this afternoon. I'm the luckiest girl on the planet to have such wonderful parents...and can't wait until mom my is well enough to tell my dad she loves him again!

Anniversary gift from the desert...

Victor's folks sent us a lovely anniversary gift. It arrived yesterday, it should have been labeled "please open outdoors", but they had NO idea just how much dirt was going to escape it's packaging.

Happy 44th Anniversary Mom & Dad...

It took my Aunt Jan a little bit of scanning of old slides and using my grandpa's old slide projector..but she found some of the only known pictures of my parent's wedding 44 years ago!

Their wedding photographer messed up their photos, so these photos that my grandpa took are the only ones we have. Kinda funny...my aunt said the photographer was in one of the photos and she cut her out! Thanks Aunt Jan for getting these for me!

Happy 44th mom & dad. We all love you very, VERY much!

Happy 30th Anniversary Mark & Mary...

We had a great time tonight SURPRISING Mark & Mary BIG TIME! They had NO idea that their daughter Cari had planned a wonderful gathering of a bunch of us!

Charlie also has a new best friend...CARI! ;-)

Happy 4th Anniversary Victor & Kathy...

Holy cow...can't believe 4 years have already gone by since that beautiful December Saturday...it was brisk (not as BRISK as this past week here in the PNW) and a perfect day. Not sure how I got so lucky...met "the dude" I'd been looking for for 36 years...a genuinely nice guy that made me laugh (and still does). I had really stopped looking and it's totally true, THAT's when it happens...

Victor, I love you and Charlotte more than I ever thought possible..."YOU complete me." Yes, corny but I think brilliant line from Jerry McGuire...THANK YOU for giving me the two bests gift a girl could ask for...YOU and our most precious Charlotte. No matter what is happening, YOU can always make me laugh, calm me down and you are ALWAYS there for me (even when I need help turning over 100 coffee cozies that I procrastinated doing)...Ti Amo always...Kathy



















This was our wedding gift from my brother's family! My sister-in-law Kellie knew and was absolutely right..PERFECT gift for us...It's a stone right outside the entrance to Disneyland, the best little place on earth!

Happy 43rd Anniversary to my folks (yesterday)!!!

Whoops...totally didn't get to post anything last night and then don't have time to find a picture this morning...

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my parents! 6-10-66...it was a great day (so I understand--I didn't show-up for another 2 1/2 years later)...

Unfortunately my parents don't have any photos of their wedding...the photographer (messed up) and they only have a few snapshots of the day, not even in their wedding attire.

It's funny...dad graduated from KU on 6-6-66 and just 4 days later, they got married. Grandma Green (my dad's mom) wouldn't allow dad to get married until he'd finished college. Kids really DID listen to their parents back in the day.

Cake for Mom & Dad's 40th Wedding Anniversary...We had a great day up at mom & dad's house...All the photos are taken in their yard. We shared lots of laughs and stories of old times and new! For their anniversary, mom & dad are going on a 7 day Mexican Cruise in July!









Charlie gets to meet her cousins Jack (4 years) and Kaylie (almost 2 years) along with her Uncle Tim & Aunt Kellie.

My favorite quote of the weekend....Jack "My cousin Charlie is so cute, she's as cute as a rattle"..the little dude got the rattle & button confused, but he's so cute when he says it!!!
