Week 38...

Pittock Mansion...

I'd been wanting to take the kiddo up here, finally decided and had a great time touring the inside and enjoying the great views of Portland from the outside!!!

NWCT and Portland....

Saturday morning was Charlotte's last acting class of this term.  She's been spending every Saturday morning for two hours at NWCT (Northwest Children's Theater) taking their Intro to Acting class.  

Today, Victor and I, along with all the other parents got to see what they've been doing.

Frankie and Sam did an amazing job teaching 16 kiddos how to improve, listen and have FUN while learning a new craft!

After the class, we grabbed a bite at Little Big Burger and then walked around Pioneer Place (Portland's Living Room) looking at the Tattoo Flower display!   We LOVE Portland!!!

Easter Sunday...downtown Portland...

Easter Sunday we met up with my folks and Tim/Kel/Jack/Kaylie in downtown Portland.  They had already eaten lunch, so we hung out at Saturday Market for a bit, then they were gonna head home.  Charlie and I stuck around and walked across the river, down the east bank of the river and back.  Weather couldn't have been any better this weekend!

Chinese Gardens...

We have an annual pass to the Portland Chinese Garden and today was the day. It was early enough that it wasn't too crowded and breezy enough that it wasn't too hot.

They've added a kids activity (treasure hunt) to keep the wee ones busy and it worked like a charm! We even enjoyed "tea" at Teahouse.

The first photo is of Charlotte doing "The Needle"...I saw this on the news the other night...it's similar to "crunching" or "planking" in a photo...something FUN and different to add to our photos...

Amazing SUNNY Saturday...

Finally, more than two beautiful days a row! ;-)

After Charlotte's dance class (which was also photo day in their new costumes), we picked up Victor and headed for downtown. It was SO seriously NICE out today! We looked at the ships, people, doggies and then decided to walk across the Hawthorne Bridge and down the east bank of the Willamette River back across the Morrison Bridge. We hung out at Portland's Saturday Market for a bit, ate an elephant ear and just enjoyed being outside in Portland!

We finished the day off at Susie, Shawn & Tyler's house! Great mango margaritas, BBQ and FUN! Charlotte got a couple of Princess Tiana presents from them and was in a super good mood tonight. She gave lots of hugs and had a ton of fun chasing Maisie in the back yard!

Seriously, a great day in Portland. I love living in this part of the world!
