Winterhawks...

I won four, rink-side tickets to the Winterhawks game tonight at the Rose Garden.  Victor wasn't up to going, so I asked Rachel if she and Matthew wanted to go.  

Unfortunately the Hawks lost...it was a sad game.  But the kiddos, Rachel and I had a blast!  My friend Christi captured this of us on the jumbo tron!  Always FUN!

Winterhawks: Mascot night...

Victor won tickets to tonight's game from GPTW (Great Place To Work). While we were standing at the concession stand to get snacks Charlotte noticed her friend Bella on one of the screens within the Rose Garden and she wanted to go find her. We explained that there are over 10,000 people and we probably weren't gonna find her tonight and she's see her at school on Monday. Imagine our surprise when we sat down in our AWESOME seats (4th row from the ice) and discovered Bella and her folks were sitting directly in front of us! Only my child would this happen to. They don't work at Intel, just happen to have purchased a few games with these seats.

It was a great game!  Hawks won.  It was mascot night.  Leipsic got a hat trick and there were a couple of great fights too!

Intel and Hawkey...

Intel's GPTW (Great Place To Work) originally had a huge party planned on Saturday, Feb. 2nd. Due to some unforeseen scheduling issues, the big party was scrapped, but there were still over 2,000 hockey and 1,000 Blazer tickets given out. Tim & Rachel had won Blazer tickets, but you only got two and we were gonna be babysitting M & M. When the note went out that they still had too many tickets, I got a couple more for the kiddos to go with us to the hockey game.

Turns out poor Maddy got sick, so we took Matthew and their neighbor Kaitlyn. We met up with Mark and Mary and had a great time!

My friend Tiffany was the Intel singer who got to sing the National Anthem and she nailed it! GPTW members got to wear bunny suits, dance and ride the Zamboni during the first break!

What a weekend...

Saturday I spent a few hours in Salem with a great bunch of Relayers.  Jamie & Brooks girls are working on flushing out cancer!

Friday started off EARLY....Dropped off the Green Family Unit at 0600at PDX...great time and they made it safely home!

So, my friend Bonnie had this idea...she asked a few families back in December if we'd like to all go to a game together...we said YES of course! Because there was a group of over 10, we got to get our names up on the jumbo tron during the 2nd break...fun times with the Underwoods, Vander Yachts and Hoffmans last night! We are blessed to have them as dear friends!

18th straight home win for the Hawks...

Thanks to who I sit near at work and somebody having to bail out of their tickets, I was able to get 4 free tickets RINK SIDE for tonight's game. Victor and I never put in for the lottery for anything the days he works, but he took today and tomorrow off (due to an important work event I'm taking care of)...SO when Lesley asked me if we wanted the tickets, we jumped at the chance.

At first Charlotte was a bit scared of all the pucks hitting right in front of us, but then she got into it. 7 to 4 against Everett, WA. Next game for us in February 24th...can't wait! GO HAWKS!!!

Intel house that is...we gave out over 350 tickets today...it was a FUN day!   We had four of the Hawks at the Aloha Campus today.  They were SO polite and SO quiet, painfully quiet...they were great signing pennants and talking to employees.
