Date day...Portland Art Museum....

When Victor and I started dating in early 2005, I had Mondays off from work and he was working Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights until 6am.  What that meant was we had Monday afternoons off to spend together.  

The one thing we never managed to do, because it's closed on Mondays, is go to the Portland Art Museum....today, we finally got to go!!!

Starting February off right...

What better way to start off our birthday month, then a DATE DAY! You've heard of date night, right? Well, this is even better...an entire day, just the two of us and SUNSHINE!!!

Breakfast at one of our favorite spots...Longbottoms. Powell's, Penzeys (for the first time), walking around The Pearl District...Lunch at The Grilled Cheese Grill...The movie, The King's Speech (excellent and will probably win the Oscar for best picture), coffee spot Insomnia (first time too) and then picked up the pud from school.....It was a GREAT DAY!

My b-day is next week, but Victor has to work...so that day will be an all about me (just me) day. Victor has his b-day off, so that will be all about him! Love February and celebrating more birthdays!
