Mt. Hood Railroad...
Why I smiled today...My niece and nephew got to experience snow fall for the first time EVER! They are both from SoCal and it started snowing on the way up from Hood River to Parkdale. While we were at Parkdale for an hour stop, it REALLY started coming down. The kiddos got to experience the white stuff coming down hard...they were very excited and VERY cold!
The weather was SO wacky today...pouring down rain during the drive to and from Hood River...snow in the hills, sunshine and more rain!
I also got a picture of the Cirque du Soleil tent that is all set-up. Can't wait to see the latest production later this month with my mom & dad.

Crazy snow....
It's so funny. Yesterday was so beautiful outside. I was home from work with Charlotte (who is still fighting a cold) and was really contemplating going out and taking photos...
Today, it WAS NOT suppose to snow (only rain). Victor stayed home from work with Charlotte and I did go to work. Bonnie and I had lunch out and we both thought it was really, really cold...so cold that it "felt like snow"...again, it was only "suppose" to rain today...
Fast forward to 2pm and it started...by the time I left work @4pm there were about 2"-3" at work...it was an hour to get home, but I did fine, went slow and didn't do anything stupid (like many other drivers out there)... lots of my friends had 3-5 hour commutes and were just plain STOPPED on the roads because it was total gridlock in the city.
Here are some photos I took tonight (3.5" on our mailbox)...the last two photos Victor took this afternoon after it had stated to snow...
