Beaverton's first $1,000 club member...

Well, I knew she'd do it again this year, but I didn't know it was gonna be SO soon, even before we have our official 2010 Relay kick-off party...

Thanks to lots of you blog readers, friends and co-workers and a SPECIAL THANK YOU to Dave & Rose, Charlotte hit $1,000 in donations this morning! If a 3.5 year old can raise $1K to help find a CURE, we all can!

Here's a little video THANK YOU from the kiddo! THANK YOU ALL! Together, we WILL find a CURE!

Christmas countdown has begun...

Can I just say home much I LOVE Charlotte's school and her teacher Miss Tynna? I really, really do!! The kiddos get to do tons of art projects, sing, dance, play and LEARN!!! I'm so glad she goes to school there and LOVES it!!!

Today they made Christmas countdown chains for all the kids to take home. Charlotte wanted her chain next to our Christmas tree...so that's where it is...

Hope for the holidays...

I kid you not..THIS is the ornament that Charlotte picked out at JoAnns on Saturday...we had to go get one little thing (as part of my mom's Christmas present--yes, I know she reads the blog) and I promised Charlotte one ornament (since they were 50% off)....LOVE IT!

Olivia's 4th B-Day Bowling Bash...

Our Christmas Tree is up...

We had to make a run to Freddies to get more lights, but we are good to go. The train will go up either late tonight (when Victor gets back from gaming) or tomorrow night when he gets home from work.

Charlotte is SUPER excited about the tree and that she got to help decorate it!

Black Friday fun...

I've been wanting to go out to Al's Garden Center for a couple of years...I decided that Black Friday was the perfect day and I was correct! No crowds and we got to take some fun photos to help us start getting into the festive Christmas mood...

No crazy shopping for us today...the weather has been gorgeous today, so we are gonna head to the downtown Portland for the tree lighting tonight and hopefully zoo lights as well...let the good times continue to roll...

Mommy, just talk to the hand, we are having a conversation over here...

Thanksgiving 2009...

We had a great time today at Nana & Papa's home....

We ate way too much yummy food, watched too much football, almost all of us took naps (YEAH) and we remembered and gave thanks to all our many blessings! When we went around the table to say what we were thankful for, Charlotte's response was "my family and mountain"...

Thank you mom & dad for a wonderfully relaxing and fun day!

Watch the video at the end...

Wishing all of you blog readers out there the very best and we hope you had a wonderful day with your family and friends...love Charlotte, Kathy & Victor.

Thanksgiving days past...

2008 was a great Thanksgiving. My brother Tim, Sister-in-law Kellie, nephew Jack and niece Kaylie were here to celebrate with us...FUN TIMES!

2007, dad had already moved over to Hawaii, so Victor, Charlotte, mom and I spent the day together. It's still so funny looking at how much Charlotte's hair has lightened up since she was born...

Charlotte's first Thanksgiving (2006)...She still is a little turkey!

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of Victor and I on Thanksgiving Day 2005...we had a great time at my parents, but no photos...Love the fact that we are celebrating our 5th Thanksgiving together and our 4th as a little family.

Love you Victor & Charlotte...YOU two are the most important reasons for me to be THANKFUL!!!

My first LLB...

Little Letty's Bag and I LOVE IT!!! So cute!

Plus it's SO easy to whip up...boy, I'm still on a roll.

Thankful Tuesday...

We have lots and lots to be thankful for, not just at Thanksgiving, but all year long! Here's my early edition of WHY I'm thankful...These are not in any particular order and I stopped at 20, even though the list could go on and on...
  • A happy 3.5 year old who loves going to school and makes us laugh all the time...
  • Jobs that we are both VERY grateful to have.
  • A home that we love and colorful walls that help make us smile.
  • Grandparents and a wonderful Great-Grandma that we are SO LUCKY to have in our lives.
  • Aunts/sister-in-laws and Uncles/brothers...
  • Great Aunts & Uncles...
  • Cousins, little cousins and second cousins too...
  • Friends, so many wonderful friends...near and far...
  • Bloggin' buddies & Facebook friends that we've connected with thanks to the internet!
  • Relay For Life and the great things that we are doing in order to help raise funds and raise awareness until we find a CURE!
  • Our freedom...what a great country we live in!
  • Cellphones (remember my little incident)...
  • Yummy foods for our tummies...
  • Our local library...
  • Singing and dancing...
  • Silly costumes...
  • Disney movies!!!
  • Celebrating more birthdays, each year is a gift!
  • Our beautiful little corner of the planet, the best place on earth!
  • Our health and the health of our family and friends.. you are all continually in our thoughts and prayers.

We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Thank you for being a part of our lives!

Love Charlotte, Kathy & Victor...

I think I'm addicted...

to making Letty's Bags...I started and finished Charlie's bag today. We (SHE) picked out the fabric last night and while she was taking a 2.5 hour nap today, I finished 80% of it. We had to run out late this afternoon and SHE picked out the button for the outside pocket (with a little coaching from me). After she had seen mine, she wanted one too...it's perfect to put her dance class "stuff" in..much more fun than the Freddies bag we've been using.

She was SO excited when I finished sewing the handles...enjoy the little video.

THANK YOU Robin, again, for the wonderful pattern!

Groucho is in the house...

After dance class this morning, Charlotte and I stopped by Rhonda's (she was having a Stampin' Up party). Rachel was bringing Maddy, so I brought Charlotte along so they could play together...

The girls, as always, had a great time playing together. Rhonda has two granddaughters just a little bit older, so she's got lots of fun stuff, including these Groucho Marx glasses, that Charlotte and Maddy were able to goof around wearing.

My first Letty's Bag...

YAHOO...I finished it tonight, curtain grommets and all! I took a class Tuesday night at Sharon's Attic and got 85% of it done...there is just something so great about FINISHING what you start!

THANK YOU Robin for this great pattern! Robin is my friend Maureen's mother-in-law. Robin and her friend Marilyn are the two behind Two Wacky Women, patterns and quilting retreats. I fell in love with this bag/purse the first time I saw the one Maureen had made and I knew I had to make one myself.

Actually very easy to make and FUN! I've got more of these and the smaller "LLB" Letty's Little Bag in my future!

THANK YOU Robin!
