Hope for the Holidays Expo...

I think it's safe to say it was a SUCCESS!!! All 100 tables were sold, GREAT JOB CHERYL!!! Now hopefully folks came, saw and SPENT some $$. I know Susie and I got a few FUN things for ourselves and for others. I even bought my "Twilight" buddies a little something that I'll give them on Thursday at our midnight movie party! Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob ladies? You need to read this, then email me with your answer (Bonnie, Bev, Capi, Mary & Vickie)??

Susie and I are already plotting things to start making NOW for next year...We both had a great time and it was really nice for me to see/talk to a few more folks today that either weren't at Relay U yesterday, or are from another region, but were here selling items today for their Relay teams.

Longview's own "Calendar Girls". Meet Miss July (Arleen) and Miss December (Carol). How could I NOT buy a calendar from these two amazing breast cancer Survivors? I'd met Arleen at Summit either this year or last (we couldn't remember) and was thrilled to not just get to talk to them, but also buy one of their FUNdraising calendars...Hot Flashing Lumpy Ladies. These gals ROCK!!!

Does this FUNdraiser look a little familiar on the right? I LOVE that these gals from Cowlitz Co, WA took the idea I got from Reno in '07, bought one of my t-shirts at Relay U. in '07 and now are doing their own FUNdraising by selling the t-shirt on the left!!

The Vancouver gals had some GREAT fundraising going on at their booth.

Megan & Liz from our Hillsboro Committee selling their yummy Godiva chocolates.

Jenn (Camas--aka East Clark County Relay) and her 2-year old twins Daniel (front) and Cameron (back)...I hadn't seen them since Sept. '07 after we landed in PDX returning from Leadership Summit. Boy have they grown!

They say dogs and their owners tend to look a bit alike? This lady was awesome! She's a breast cancer Survivor and was good enough to let me not only take a picture of her and her adorable puppy, but quite a few others also wanted to hold her dog too!

Susie had to get a photo with the puppy too!

Ali has been knitting up a storm..Way to go Ali!
