2nd floor Grand Opening....

After Charlotte's friend's swimming birthday party, we had to pick-up daddy's "secret" father's day gift that was ready for us to pick-up!  :)  On the way home Charlotte wanted to stop by the library and see if the 2nd floor was done yet.  LUCKY us....not only was it open, but today was the GRAND OPENING of the 2nd floor!

Signed up for the summer reading program.  20+ books to be read by July 22nd.

Monday awesomeness...

Turned out to be another GORGEOUS day in the PNW!!! :)

After work/day care, Charlotte and I went to the library for some books/DVDs and a walk around the pond so I could take some photos of her (with my little point and shoot camera that I LOVE)...love this weather, still can't believe it's been so nice...YEAH for Fall!

Last day of July...

The kiddo and I had a great day today. We walked all around the paths at the library. Gorgeous day!

Lazy Sunday afternoon...

Charlotte still isn't totally up to par (she's been under the weather since Friday). She finally said she'd like to go to the library and pond to feed the ducks, so late this afternoon we did.

She was a trooper and walked the entire figure 8 loop behind the library and THEN we went inside to get a couple of books and DVDs. You can see that she's feeling better.

Thankful for a sunny Sunday...the rain is coming back to night and lasting all week (shocking --- NOT)!

Charlotte and I went back to the library this afternoon to pick-up new books/DVDs and return a CD for Victor.

We also did another lap around the duck/goose pond and had a great time.

Catching a break from the rain...

I'm not complaining about the rain AT ALL! After the surprise snow we got Tuesday, I'll take the rain ANY DAY!!!

We met up with friends at Out of this World Pizza early today, but I didn't take any photos...it was good to get caught up and see everybody.

On the way home, Victor needed to drop off and pick-up some items from the library. Charlotte has been feeling better, but more Sybil than not lately. She asked to go in with him, we said no. Then while we were waiting for him in the car, she asked if we could go see the ducks. I told her yes, but ONLY if she was a good girl and listened to mommy & daddy. Shockingly she did!

We got home, took down all the Christmas decorations/tree and got the house back to normal...I still can't take down the Christmas cards, they make me smile too much, I'll be keeping them up for at least another week. Right after we were done, Charlotte turned into Sybil again. When we didn't cave to her demands, she said "I quit"...went upstairs and fell asleep about 15 minutes later on our bed. PEACE, at least for a bit...whoever said it was the terrible twos, never met MY three year old!

My two favorite people being silly...KU fabric from my Aunt Jan for more coffee cozies (THANKS Aunt Jan) ...and a "surprise" from Victor to me, courtesy of the Beaverton Library, Hardy Boys Season 1...I always had a crush on Parker Stevenson NOT Shaun Cassidy...FUN!

Target and the library...

Who could ask for anything more?? Well, maybe IKEA or Costco, but one is too far away, the other we didn't need anything in bulk tonight.

New warm hat for the pud...books and a couple of DVDs for the rest of us...had to skip the book sale, just too much to get her to stay in one spot...she did let me stop by the yarn shop on the way home...

Needed to pick-up and drop off some books/DVDs at the library, so we all piled in the car...Victor went in, Charlie & I did a little photo shoot outside... It was hot here today, 93 degrees...perfect evening for a walk around the pond.
