Annie with Grandma & Grandpa Green...

The kiddo and I took mom & dad to see the new Annie movie.  We all really enjoyed it.  Mom's first time going to the movies since the crash in '11.  Just takes so pre-planning and it worked out great!

Who ya gonna call...

We love the movie Ghostbusters.  While we were in NYC early this month we went to the library, just to take photos from the outside!!  When I found out they were re-releasing the '84 movie on it's 30th anniversary, I knew I had to take Charlotte to see it!!!

Sshhh....do you smell something?  :)

Captain Jack's still got it, Savvy?

Charlotte, Victor and I enjoyed an hour of pirate FUN at Beaverton's Cedar Hills Crossing movie theater. Thanks to Intel's GPTW (Great Place To Work) Team and Radio Disney. Lots of fun stuff for the kids (face painting, newspaper swords, photos and MORE)!

Movie was good...I still think the first is my favorite, but we had FUN! Charlotte was asking me after why the mermaids were so mean...I told her that mermaids are PRETEND and not all of them are bad...she still enjoyed the movie and thinks Captain Jack is pretty cool!

Thanks GPTW Team...

Yeah! Fun times tonight thanks to Intel's GPTW (Great Place To Work) Team!

All Oregon full-time employees are getting 2 movie vouchers to ANY movie between now & July 15th...I volunteered to help hand them out today (and give the spiel explaining the details)...In return, I got extra vouchers, PLUS they had openings at tonight's Shrek 4 movie night. I knew Bonnie, Richard and the kiddos got tickets, so I made the ask and we got to go too!

Charlie did great...aren't these two cute?

Free is a very good price...

Charlotte and I headed over to hang out with M, M & R today...we went to the FREE showing of Ponyo at the Beaverton Library. It was an interesting movie (can't really say I would recommend even renting it??)...the kids seemed to enjoy it...I wasn't sure where it was going (plus it didn't help that it seemed a little out of focus)...FREE is a very good price and the kids had fun!

After that, we went back to their place and hung out playing in the neighbors yard....they apparently have a new neighbor that doesn't like kids playing outside (yelled over the fence twice at the kids to be quiet)...it was 4pm in the afternoon and they were just playing...oh boy....

Anyway, another great day with the M&M!

We had a great time tonight...many of us got to the theater a little after 9pm and we waited in line. We were told they wouldn't start seating until 11:20pm, but luckily we were let in ~ 10:20pm, so we could sit, laugh, take photos and have FUN!

Thanks everybody that went...the movie was SO much better than Twilight...can't wait for Eclipse, heading to a theater near you June '10...another midnight show is on the horizon.

Friday recap...

Today was a great day! ;-)

Little Gym make-up class in the morning. Lunch with Susie. Relay For Life meeting in Beaverton with Dana (thanks Dana). Victor went war gaming with Garland Friday night. Nana & Papa called to tell us they had mail for us, so Charlie & I met up with them at Baja Fresh for dinner and Charlie really had FUN!

Charlie & I come back home and she got some SERIOUS bubbles in mommy's bathtub. We now are using our bigger tub for baths and she LOVES it!

A little singing, dancing and she wanted to watch "the dragon movie"...AKA "Night at the Museum"...She LOVES watching the part when the dinosaur comes to life the first night Ben Stiller is on patrol...I was knitting next to her and she was talking up a storm...next thing I know, she's OUT, totally OUT with a bit of a smile on her face.

I put her in her own bed, I work on packing up my stuff for Saturday's all day scrapbooking event and I'm gonna call it a night.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Charlie Brown Movie...

As Charlie calls it, has been seen at our home EVERY night for the last few weeks....It was actually on TV tonight. She didn't like the comercials though!

Why I smiled today...The pud likes Peanuts, just like her daddy!

Was it worth it???

This is about 30 minutes before the movie started. There were over 500 of us in 3 separate theaters just at the Cornelius Theater. Team Edward, Team Jacob & Twilight shirts were EVERYWHERE...

I think it's safe to say we all liked the movie. Was it all we had hoped? It was mixed reactions from the crowd and there wasn't applause after it was over (like Star Wars Episode III).

Are we glad we went...HECK YEAH!!! Thanks again Bonnie for getting our tickets. I know we all had a great time tonight!

Ironically it was EXTREMELY foggy when we got out of the movie @2:15am...I even got to see the moon for a bit of my drive home...kinda eerie...Sequel, I'm sure there will be...maybe even a little more money will get put into making New Moon.

This afternoon...

This is what watching "Nemo" did to her this afternoon...of course I also slept thru most of it, but I needed to rest-up for Twilight this evening....

Our own little fish-eyed munchkin...

Thanks "Lissa" -- aka Melissa for the great big leaves you brought over Wednesday night. Charlie finally warmed up to them...She kept saying "Lissa brought me big leaves, where is Lissa at now mommy?"...

Another look at our tree...soon there will be no leaves again until Spring. Those leaves that are left are still hanging in there...
