Happy Monday...

This is how I found her this afternoon when I got home from work...sleeping like a baby!

We have a working oven again, YEAH! A very nice repairman that we found thru Angie's List was able to come out this morning, replace the sensor that had burned out and didn't charge us a fortune to do it!

Sunny day and our tree is MIA...

Not sure where that sun came from, but I was seriously thrilled to see it when I left work @4pm today...It was pretty cool seeing the nearly full moon @4am this morning too!

I was also THRILLED that our over grown tree (that was suppose to be removed by the yard maintenance folks in May) was FINALLY removed today! You can now see that we have a tiny little covered patio off the office...Man, we might actually sit out there now when the weather gets nicer. I tried to find a "before" photo and realized I never took one, thinking that the tree was never really going to be removed.

Why I smiled today...My computer (or puter as Charlie would call it) was back into hang-up mode when I got home from work...After Charlie and I got home from our Relay For Life Team Captain meeting (YEAH Wee Bees for a Cure), Victor was finally able to get it up & running again (so I could post this blog update)...gotta make sure I get my bloggin' done for the day!!!

We still need to unpack MANY boxes, but we are making progress....Eldin would be proud, we have hung up a few addiontal items without her direct supervision!

Post #1000..."Welcome Home...Love, Eldin"...

THANK YOU MARIA!!! Why I smiled today...Coming home and finding a few expected and unexpected surprises!!!

Outside the house looks great. We have a brand spankin' newly painted outside and Tricorn black door (love it--great suggestion Maria)...

Inside we have a newly painted staircase and upstairs hallway--it looks GREAT, (I just can't remember the color name--must get that from Maria)...we also had two VERY COOL SURPRISES!!!!

These 3 very cute little pumpkins with our initials and a "Welcome HOME. Love Eldin" fishy note! ;-)

Before we went upstairs, we were trying to eat our fast food lunch, Charlotte went upstairs and kept saying "can't open my door, help peez"....We finally went upstairs and I just started to seriously laugh & SMILE!!! Charlotte's door was shut, but hanging on the door knob was her very own little Home Depot kid sized apron with her name on it, along with her very own paint brush!!!

Thanks Eldin...WE love it!!!
