Saturday...

Saturday was the first Saturday in 9 weeks we haven't had to have Charlie in NW Portland for her acting class. So, Charlie and I decided to WALK to the Farmer's Market in downtown Hillsboro. We wore my Garmin and I was right, it's 2 miles there....there was quite a bit of "whining" on the way there, but once we arrived, all was right in the world again.

 After the Farmer's Market, Victor picked us up and we drove to mom/dad's. Terry/Lil had picked up Lil's brother John and his wife Susan at PDX (they live in Topeka, KS) and there are here for the week. Spending the entire time at the Oregon Coast with Terry and Lil. We hadn't seen John since Dave's wedding in '93 and first time meeting Susan.

 Saturday was a great day!

We walked to the market.  2.04 miles from home.

Fun at Hillsboro's Farmers Market...

We haven't been at all this season...so Victor suggested we go check it out. He had a Fetzer's sausage sandwich and Charlotte had a couple of mini-donuts with sprinkles...the weather was over cast this morning...PERFECT!

We headed to our Beaverton Farmer's Market for WAFFLES! Everybody loves WAFFLES!

Beaverton's Farmers Market...

Nothing better on a chilly October morning than going to the Beaverton Farmers Market. Jill and Tai were working the Community Booth for their Relay For Life Team, Sole Sisters and Dad! They are currently in 1st place and Sonya is over 60% to being our first $1K club member for 2010!

Goodbye June...Hello HOTTER weather...

Victor has a nasty cold, so I got off work an hour early to go pick-up Charlie from my mom's place. We got home long enough to decide that Victor was just too tired to have us around, so we headed to the Tuesday Farmers Market! The weather was perfect, 80 degrees...kids running around like maniacs in the fountain, blue berries a plenty (Charlie and I ate an entire pint by ourselves) and a fun art project for Charlie (flag, with newspaper as the pole--cool beans)...we even got to watch a group of belly dancers perform...good times...hard to believe that this year is 1/2 over in just over 5 hours!
