Dinner with Big Philly & Chris J.

Even though we got to see Big Philly for a little while on Saturday & Sunday morning at Relay---we didn't really get to TALK until tonight! He invited us to go to dinner with him & Chris & his wife Linda.

It was great to catch-up with all of them tonight and have Charlotte as the entertainment for the evening!

Ironically, we'd just talked about not getting to talk to Glenn or his girls at Relay---they ended up sitting right behind us...Glenn's in the white/black striped shirt behind Big Philly's head.

Chris hasn't changed a bit...you can tell by the expression on his face!

Thanks you guys for a fun evening.

Oh, also--the entire shift 5 OM gang was only 2 tables away....so BP got to see all of them as well---it's a small world, especially at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse!

Sunny day at the Oregon Zoo

Short, but fun trip to see the animals...most were taking naps and Charlotte fell asleep on the car ride home........no surprise there!

Charlotte gets to meet the Grams Family from NE

YEAH...Kathy & Charlotte finally got to meet Jeff, Krista, Haley & Kim. They were out for a family wedding and we met them for dinner last night. Jeff, Kim & Victor went to high school together back in NJ.

After dinner, they came over for just a little while to hang out and relive some fun stories from their youth.
It was great meeting you guys! Hopefully we can make it to NE sometime in the near future. Safe travels!!!

Relay 2007 -- What an AWESOME 24-hours!

WOW---WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
Look what we did over the weekend! We spent 24-hours celebrating life and after nearly a years worth of planning and FUNdraising.....this is where we are at to date: $101,209.19.....HOLY COW!!! Hillsboro is the first Relay For Life outside of Clark County, WA in the Portland Metro area to break $100K....I'm so happy, I'm jumping up in the air and dad caught me midstream.

2007 Survivor Photo!!! 90+ in attendance this year. 2003 we had SEVEN total!
The band Closed Caption....I didn't realize they were playing (they were so good)--I thought someone was playing a CD.
Capi & Rachel before they got their hair cut for Locks of Love!!!

Charlotte watching them get their hair cut.

The silent action brought in over $6,600 (updated #'s).

Check out my new ride.....

Charlotte is SO happy about the Red Radio Flyer wagon we got her yesterday.....Victor put it together this afternoon and the 3 of us took a nice little spin around the neighborhood......look at the grin on her face......we should have got one of these months ago!

The funniest part about the wagon...Victor kept saying after we bought it..."Why do kids need cup holders?"......."WHY"....what I think is funny---there are spots for 2 kids....WHY 4 cup holders! Do we have two fisted drinkers we have to cart around???
We also managed to get her back in the kiddie swing tonight...she's been freaking out the last few times we attempted to put her in the swing...tonight another little kid was swinging and having fun and she enjoyed watching him while she was in the swing herself....YEAH!

Happy Father's Day 2007

Charlotte and I asked Victor what he wanted to do today......He decided on a trip to the Gorge. We went to Multnomah Falls, Crown Point, Hood River and drove back to Portland on the Washington State side of the Gorge.

Made a quick stop in the old part of Camas, WA on the drive back home via the Washington side of the Gorge.

Don't I look GOOD in my new overalls that Daddy got me??

Dinner with Grandma & Grandpa @Pacific Grill

I'm having so much fun tonight---I think I'll tap dance on Grandma's car while Grandpa holds onto me so I don't fall off! Oh, I'll wave to everyone that drives by too!

Hey Grandpa -- can I order one of the yummy mushroom burgers without onions like Mommy likes??
I love drinking water thru a straw. Thanks Grandpa for holding the cup for me so I don't spill all over the place!

Hillsboro Tuesday Market

Despite Charlotte's facial expressions.....we ALL had a good time tonight at the first Tuesday night market in Hillsboro. Perfect weather - low 70's and not too crowded! Saw lots of folks we knew and had dinner with our neighbors Bill, Becky & Phyllis.

LOVE these photos!

Charlotte totally cracks me up when she falls asleep like this. She just didn't want to take a nap this afternoon, so Victor sat on the couch with her and then she crashed.....life is good!

Fun on a semi-sunny Monday morning

Victor had to get his last paper done today, so Charlotte and I went to the Oregon Zoo for a couple of hours this morning. We got to see the baby elephant and the tigers, who are NEVER awake when we normally go.

Charlotte had a good time, but it was a little TOO crowded for me. Seems like ALL the schools decided to have a field trip on the last week of school. We were only there a little while and came back home.

Mommy had a Great Time over in Bend, Oregon this weekend!

These are just a few of the scrapbook layouts that we did over the 2 1/2 days at Ginni's home.

This is just a sample of some of the fun cards we made over the weekend!

A super cool card organizer!

Sunday afternoon, all the girls got to graduate and these are the diplomas they received!

Mommy will post their graduation photos once she gets them from Ginni!
