FUN on a HOT Spring Day.....

It was over 90 degrees here in Hillsboro today...luckily it stays really cool up at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Grandma and I were outside on the front porch waiting for mommy this afternoon....we had a FUN day!!!

A Visit from Madison & Matthew

Had a fun little surprise this afternoon....Rachel, Madison & Matthew stopped by to drop off a b-day gift for Charlie & hang out for a while. Madison is 3 and Matthew is exactly one month older than Charlie!

Saturday Morning Fun & Hillsboro Farmer's Market

Boy, what a busy/fun morning Mommy & I have had.....First, I got up @6:45am (Daddy had to work 1/2 day today)......Ate my cereal & peaches for breakfast. She changed me out of my cute new "Surf's Up" outfit into some street clothes, and we were off......Did a few errands, then picked up DL and headed out for the Hillsboro Saturday Market. Saw lots of people there that Mommy new....saw lots off cool puppies too! Found a great new little Italian cafe & bakery - Tresca right in downtown Hillsboro -- they just opened at the end of April. Here's the photo of DL & I infront of the shop.....YUMMY! Daddy is gonna love this place. The pastery chef there was super nice and gave us two little pieces of Tiramisu for mommy & daddy to try.




While at the market, we bought a few food items and got grandma & grandpa a turtle with spinning legs when the wind blows...the gentlemen in the picture works with his wife and they've been making them for year. Mommy had to buy a BEE for her WeBees for a Cure team.






Mommy & I also went up to see Grandma & Grandpa this morning....dropped off the turtle and hung out in the back yard with the doggies and watched Grandpa work on trimming up the Rhodies and other plants.


















Here I am this morning...just hanging out, dancing, singing and having a good-ol-time!

My Grandpa Green is SO cool...listen up fellas!

How cool is this!!! My Grandpa Green got my Grandma Green this beautiful basket of flowers yesterday! WHY?? 5/22/07 marked the 45th anniversary of the day he proposed to Grandma! Fellas, take note! Even if a girl says she doesn't need flowers....ALL girls DESERVE flowers every once in a while! Good job Grandpa!!!

A Cool Thank You Card from Gabe H.....

Got this in the mail from Gabe today....very cool "Thank You" card from a very cool little dude! Thanks Gabe...your mommy & daddy have taught you well...you're never to young to learn the importance of sending out thank you cards (especially handmade ones)!

Grandma & I got to take mommy to work and pick her up this afternoon while her car was getting all fixed up at the shop! I'm glad the weather is getting better so Grandma & I can go outside and do more things when it's not cold & raining!

Monday, Monday.....

A new toy to take to Grandma's house to make lots of NOISE......a turtle tambourine!!!

Charlie is into taking our two pillows on the couch and putting them on the floor, then plopping down on them....or anything else, her coats, blanket or books.....she cracks herself up when she does it!

Busted....she was WAY too quiet....I went around the corner and sure enough...she'd opened up her little container of Cherrios and they were all over the floor.

Karla Denise's Baptism -- Edited Version 5/21/07

We went to Karla's baptism this morning. Charlotte wasn't really into holding still and being quiet, so her & I spent most of the service outside playing in the puddles.....Karla did great and Amy did her part of the ceremony right on-que, we just didn't get a photo of that.

We went home immediately after the service....somebody (Charlotte Frances) went postal, screaming and wouldn't chill out. She's now fast asleep in her crib for hopefully at least a 2 hour nap!

Saturday, In The Park......Mommy's New Cricut!

Mommy was pretty excited about finally setting up her newest TOY!!! She was SO lucky, Capi's sister Sandi got a great deal on these down in Salem...Mommy always said she was NEVER gonna buy one of these....well, sometimes NEVER does happen...especially when you get it for 1/3 of the normal retail price! Thanks Sandi for thinking of me and snagging one for me too!

Saturday Shopping......

Mommy & I left the house this morning and stopped by a couple of garage sales...One for Relay For Life and the other for scrapbookers & stampers! We just spent a couple of dollars and then went to lunch with DL.

On the way home from lunch, somebody fell asleep and is still conked out for her afternoon nap! Mommy can get her new Cricut machine out and start playing....We'll post more photos tonight. Daddy is out playing Bocci Ball with the guys...they are gonna have their own team this year to play in the Italian Festa Bocci Ball Tourament in August...should be fun!

Charlotte's 12 Month Appointment

Victor took Charlotte to her 12 month doctor appointment today. She's doing great. Weighs 22 lbs 6 oz and is 30" tall......we did some errands tonight after I got home from work including a trip to Costco! She loves that store!

Do you like the onesie she's wearing? Victor picked it up a couple of weeks ago for her.

This is what happens when.....

You drag your 1 year old daughter with you to 4 different scrapbook/stamping stores in Oregon/Washington on a nice spring day....she totally crashes before you get to the 4th store!

A Couple of Fun Hours at the Zoo

Charlotte & I had lunch with some friends from work today in celebration of Capi's birthday!!! Then we went on to the zoo (Charlotte & I).....It got kinda warm here in Portland today (85 dgrees) which is warm for us. So by the time we got to the zoo, most of the animals were taking siestas....except the elephants & zebras...I actually got a good shot of one of the zebras.

This photo just had to be taken....we did go to look, but it was all over....so NO, Charlotte won't be scarred for life!

Mommy & Daddy get to see Bill Cosby and Doralisa & I get to hang out!

YEAH---can you tell how excited I am that Doralisa & I got to hang out for 4 1/2 hours tonight? She came over and babysat while mommy & daddy went to Portland to see Bill Cosby

We read lots of my books and ran around the living room chasing each other....she even fed me my dinner and gave me one or two of her french fries from Arby's!
