Before and after...

Her bangs were getting a little too long for me. So yesterday after work/school, we went to our favorite shop and she got a finger's length cut off...AND she sat in the big girl chair, not the airplane or police car!

My friend Keri...

She's pretty awesome!! Not only is she just a really great person...but she's a also a GREAT hair stylist! She had volunteered to cut mom's hair after she got out of the hospital and was at Crestview...She also cut her hair at The Marquis. Mom was really ready to get her haircut again...Keri came up to the house this afternoon and not only gave mom a haircut, but was talking to mom's caregiver Jane (who won't have a day off until 12/27) so Keri asked mom if it was okay if she cut it...mom was fine with it, so Jane got a haircut too! NICE!!! Mom's a happy camper once again (not that she wasn't happy), she just loves shorter/sassy hair!! THANK YOU Keri!!

I can see again...

Why I smiled today...Good day at work! Shirt distribution went really well and people seemed happy...going back for round 2 tonight...After picking up Charlotte from school we went and got her bangs trimmed--YAHOO, she can see again!

It cracks me up that the gals at Pigtails and Crewcuts know her on a first named basis...we go every few months, but they all know her..guess she leaves a lasting impression (in a good way). It still amazes me how she'll sit totally still for anyone BUT mom & dad!

Haircut and Hot Topic...

We went to Pigtails & Crewcuts after school today to get Charlie's haircut...Bangs and a bit off the length and of course PIGGY TAILS! She LOVES getting her haircut and the two gals working today have both cut her hair many times over the past couple of years...she's (of course) and absolute ANGEL when we are there....at home, not so much!

After her haircut, I decided to walk around the outside mall area and let her RUN a bit. We went into Hot Topic (a store that specializes in music and pop culture based fashion) in hopes to find some Twilight fabric (pillow cases or bandannas)...no such luck. Guess my secret Relay FUNdraising project won't have any styles for my Twilight buddies.

When we were leaving the store, Charlie wanted to check out the costumes, which run a bit on the risque side. Of course she wants me to take her photo next to one and tells me that's the costume she wants to wear when she gets bigger. I'm not even sure what is was suppose to be...short skirt, plunging neckline and one wacky wig...I'm in trouble when she hits her teen years.

I tried to get her to pose in front of some of the Twilight and New Moon items, but she wasn't having anything to do with it. I tried Bonnie!
