Roundin' Up a Cure for Cancer...

Charlie and I picked up Jill & Matt this morning and headed out to Camas, WA for the East Clark County Relay For Life. I've known many of their committee members for years, this is the first time I've managed to make it out to their event.

We had a great couple of hours, got lots of great ideas for our own event and left a few dollars behind too!

So glad we were able to get there for the Opening Ceremony and help cheer on all their Survivors!

Charlie had a great time, Dean & Rachel were able to meet us there too (but I managed to not get any photos of them)...Charlie also got her face painted (thanks Jill)...that's towards the end of this long line of fun photos!

Congrats to Jen, Patti, Ashley and crew for a wonderful event!

You know it's gonna be a great day when...

your 3 year old walks into your room (all smiles) and says "mommy, you are my best friend", then gives you a big hug!!! LOVE HER!

We are off to the East Clark County, WA Relay For Life this morning, can't wait to see some of my Relay buddies, walk a few laps and cheer on the Survivors!

Good times at the zoo & downtown PDX...

After the zoo, we took Max to downtown Portland, just to walk around and grab a little lunch...it's SO pretty today, just can't believe it!

One tired out kiddo...

We both new she was gonna crash early tonight...she didn't want any dinner and was not making any sense (but not totally being Sybil)...after her bath, we settled down to watch a bit of Ice Age (her favorite movie tonight)...she was out cold about 20 mins. into the movie...

Why I smiled today...

Wait, could it be?? A CAR parked in our garage...

Why yes, yes it is!! YIPPY!!!

When I got home last night, I thought Victor & Charlie had to leave and he forgot to tell me (because his car wasn't parked outside the garage)...to my delight, I opened the garage door and there it was, the Outback parked INSIDE our garage! It's the little things in life.

You are probably thinking, what's all that 'stuff' on the right side of his car...it's items for our Relay Garage/Parking Lot sale in June...more info on that soon.

YAHOO -- feels good to only have one car parked outside, not sure that we'll ever get to two cars, but never say never!

Good FUNdraising time tonight...

We had a few friends over tonight for a Relay For Life Pampered Chef party!

Brenda does an awesome job and the treats were very yummy!

The last Pampered Chef FUNdraiser I had was in Oct'06, right before I went back to work after maternity leave/sabbatical....Boy has Charlie changed link to Oct'06.

Pampered Chef FUNdraiser is tonight!

I'm having a Pampered Chef FUNdraising party tonight, Wednesday, May 27th at our house @6pm. The really cool part, besides not having to prepare any of the food, is that 15% of the total sales will go the Relay For Life of Beaverton, Team Wee Bees for a Cure, Charlotte's team!

Good times on Memorial Day '09

The three of us spent a few hours Monday afternoon with friends at a local park. THANKS Kim & Andy for arranging it and everyone for the yummy food!

Good to see everyone, if only for a couple of hours!

Clean Sweep of our garage...

This is the "before" we started putting things back in ORGANIZED!

Charlotte and I went to visit Buck & Star (Melissa & Bob too) and on the way home Victor paged me to let me know he was SWEEPING out our empty garage....YAHOO!

We had planned on doing this today, I just didn't realize how serious he was about it...we are gonna have one great garage sale in June for Relay!!!

Once we can park one of our cars back in the garage, I'll post another update!

Mt. St. Helens...

Victor, Charlotte and I took a nice day trip up to Mt. St. Helens today...perfect weather, not too crowded and it was FUN!
