Father's Day weekend...

Since Victor works on Sundays (and too many others already had the day scheduled off), we celebrated Father's Day Friday/Saturday. We went to see Man of Steel Friday afternoon - good movie! Saturday we met my folks for lunch and spent a few hours catching up, lots of laughter and love! So thankful we live so close to my folks and so THANKFUL that they are both still here!

Charlotte made Victor this cool mug...

Impromptu date night Saturday night.

Clouds make me happy.

Charlotte had Bella's 8th birthday party last night...this two kiddos love hanging out together.

Father's Day 2011...

Today we continue to be blessed! Charlotte and I spend most of the day at the hospital with mom & dad....We continue to ride the roller coaster that is this journey we've been given. We will continue to be strong and there for mom and each other.

We are blessed!

Five of the GREATEST fathers I know...

I've been SO blessed to have these five men in my life, most of them over 40 years!!!
These are also the five men in my life right now that have been able to be here with us as we go through this journey after mom's crash...this Father's Day will be even more special and meaningful than ever....I never took these special days for granted, but they are even more poinent and meaningful than before...Life is a GIFT, and we are BLESSED!

My hubby Victor. My best friend, my soul mate, my rock! YOU ARE the best father a girl could want for her little girl. HOW BLESSED are Charlotte and I!! I love you with all my heart and soul...thank you for loving me UNCONDITIONALLY....You are the "sane one" to all my craziness...THANK YOU, most especially these past two weeks as these have been the hardest days of my life.

My dad...I couldn't have had a better example of what it means to be THE BEST husband and father a girl could every have. The strength and love you have for mom and our entire family is truly AMAZING and I know that you two will be together ALWAYS!! This Father's Day will be extra special this year as we spend it with mom and continue to pray for God's healing on her wounds...I LOVE YOU DAD, with ALL MY HEART!!!

My brother Tim. Even though we had "our moments" growing up. You are SUCH a great father, husband, son, brother and friend. Tim, I love you so much and I'm SO PROUD you are my brother. How lucky am I these past 40 years and the next 50+ to come! Kellie, Jack, Kaylie are the best family a man could ask for...Such a beautiful, strong, happy family!! Love you guys!

My Uncle Terry. You've known me my entire life. You ALWAYS make me smile and laugh. You always see the good side of things and are ALWAYS there for our family (Aunt Lil too, but this is an ode to Fathers)....THANK YOU for being the best BROTHER to my Dad...You two are THE MOST amazing guys I know!! I love you so much, THANK YOU for always being there for us!

My cousin Dave. The crazy times we had (well, you and Tim had) growing up...Playing, fighting, playing fighting...getting in trouble at Grandma/Grandpa's by throwing oil on the "mean neighbor's house"....oh the fun times we had riding bikes on the bike trail. You are such an amazing husband, father, son and friend! I'm so glad you guys moved closer and you've been so great stopping to see Dad, Mom and I since the crash.

This photo was taken the last time we were all together as a family, Thanksgiving 2010...Five great fathers that I'm proud to call FAMILY!!!
