Dilley Holiday Bazaar...

We raised over $400 on Saturday for Relay For Life.  Wasn't sure what to expect, first grade school garage sale I've done with just crocheted items and coffee cozies.  What I did learn is the under $5 items is the way to go!  :)

A little surprise for our friend Grant...

Grant and his mom Becky were up in Portland for quite a number of days for his many doctor appointments.  Oct. 30th is the one year anniversary of when Natalie made her trip to heaven, so it's an especially rough date for Grant.  Nikki and Amber came up with a great surprise for Grant & Becky and a few of us were available and able to be in the surprise!

Relay For Life '14...

It was a different kind of Relay year for us this year.  Beaverton's event was originally scheduled when we are back east, then due to the track being upgraded, they had to move venues and weekends...to the weekend of Portland To Coast.  We moved back to Hillsboro this year and then realized Relay was the weekend Charlie was going to bible camp and we had to have her in Corbett (1+ hours east of us) by 9am Sunday of Relay.  So, this is the first year since I started doing Relay in '03 that I didn't spend the entire 24 hours.

Honestly, it was AWESOME having ZERO responsibility.  NO bringing in quick shades, things to sell, etc.  We hung out.  Walked.  Laughed, cried and had FUN!!

This was the first year Rosemary walked as a Survivor.  It was also the first year my parents were out of town, so they weren't able to attend.
