We told Charlotte she could get her ears pierced as part of her 8th birthday gift. What we didn't tell her is that she was gonna have it done after school today! We surprised her when she got off the bus and went straight to Claire's to have it done. She wigged out a bit on the drive over, and when they did the first ear lots of tears were shed...then the gal did the other ear and before you knew it, she saw her ears and it was all OK! You can see a tear on the right side of her face between her cheek and chin.
Afterwards MOMMY needed a bucket of margarita!!!
