Morning show with Don McCoun on KUIK...

Back on the radio again this morning. Pat, Marie & I got to spend a few minutes talking on air during the Washington County Today show with host Don McCoun! FUN TIMES!

We each received a fun mug and Charlie claimed it as her own as soon as I came home!

Thanks again Pat & Marie for continuing to do such GREAT WORK in the community for Relay!

My first time on the radio...

Something that I hadn't thought of for my bucket list actually got accomplished today...I was on the radio!!!

Pat from the Hillsboro Relay had asked if I would like to be part of the Relay plug that the Hillsboro folks were doing today and again tomorrow morning on our local KUIK 1360am station. I was on with Jayne Carol, she was super nice and did an awesome job during her 3-6pm show giving lots of airtime to Relay and asking the community to come out this weekend to support the event.

Both Pat & Marie from Hillsboro had been on the air before I got there and I was there last 5 minute Relay spot. We'll be at the station tomorrow 8-9am doing another plug for not just the Hillsboro Relay, but all the Relays in our area.

This was a great way to end my bizarre work week and a super positive way to start a fun-filled Relay weekend. Charlie, Rosemary & I will be heading down to the Salem Relay later tomorrow morning to visit my Relay buddy Kathy O. and the fabulous folks in Salem!
