The kiddo and I had a great time going to our first ice skating show!  

Characters and Princesses...

I've got a ton of blogging to do...Having issues with Blogger, so here's the first of many posts about our AWESOME vacation to Disney World!

Highlights from Disney World...

• Finally telling Charlotte WHERE we were going...it's been killing me keeping it a secret from her for the past few weeks...video here.
• Seeing my cousin Brian for the first time since 1996!!! :)
• Seeing Finding Nemo the Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom! It rocked! So very, VERY creative...
• Mickey's PhilharMagic...
• Meeting so many of the Princesses and Characters at 3 of the theme parks.
• Seeing different parts of the Electric Light Parade (we caught the beginning, middle and ending over 3 days), reminded me of going to Disneyland as a kid myself.
• My mom getting a "fast pass" for most rides due to her Parkinson's and walking/dizziness issues...sure helped us get thru the long lines a lot quicker!
  
• FIREWORKS! Then getting to ride Big Thunder Mountain without any wait!
• Charlotte falling asleep DURING dinner, on my lap at the Rain Forest Cafe and SNORING during the meal...it was priceless!
• Victor being "That guy" at the Monsters Inc. show at the Magic Kingdom.
• Dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge..it was wonderful food!
• Lion King musical/theater show at Animal Kingdom was amazing!
• Charlotte riding Tower of Terror with dad and I...she rocked!!

I have TONS of photos to post...I'll be doing that over the next few days...We are VERY grateful for an amazing adventure and my folks for taking us along for the ride!!! :-)

Even though we had a painfully LONG trip home...that's a post in itself...it was an amazing vacation!! I never thought I was going to go to Disney World..it was SO worth the wait!

Happy 4th Anniversary Victor & Kathy...

Holy cow...can't believe 4 years have already gone by since that beautiful December Saturday...it was brisk (not as BRISK as this past week here in the PNW) and a perfect day. Not sure how I got so lucky...met "the dude" I'd been looking for for 36 years...a genuinely nice guy that made me laugh (and still does). I had really stopped looking and it's totally true, THAT's when it happens...

Victor, I love you and Charlotte more than I ever thought possible..."YOU complete me." Yes, corny but I think brilliant line from Jerry McGuire...THANK YOU for giving me the two bests gift a girl could ask for...YOU and our most precious Charlotte. No matter what is happening, YOU can always make me laugh, calm me down and you are ALWAYS there for me (even when I need help turning over 100 coffee cozies that I procrastinated doing)...Ti Amo always...Kathy



















This was our wedding gift from my brother's family! My sister-in-law Kellie knew and was absolutely right..PERFECT gift for us...It's a stone right outside the entrance to Disneyland, the best little place on earth!

Why I smiled today...How many people do YOU know with anniversary stones at Disneyland?? Thanks to the Green Family Unit of sunny CA, we do!!
