The Redwoods...

Next stop on our adventure was driving through the Redwoods.  

There are TONS of roads that take you all over the place to see tons of amazing trees!  We were on a mission to drive thru the "Tour Thru Tree", so we didn't get as much time as we probably could have, plus we had miles to make sure we got to our hotel in Eureka that night. 

Kids thought the trees were really cool, but after a while they all start to look the same, says the kids!

California here we come...

Somebody was more than slightly excited and up WAY before her 4:30am alarm clock.

First stop, Wild Life Safari in Winston, Oregon...4+ hour drive from home.

I've lived in Oregon since I was 6 years old and this was my first time down there.

Lots of fun, lots to see, but something easily done in a few fun-filled hours!
