Halloween 2011...

She was home sick all day (slight fever) and SLEPT all day long.....when Victor got home from work at 7:45pm, "Daddy, can we still go trick-or-treating please"....we caved, she had a blast!

Melissa (and Bob) made Charlotte a little caterpillar home for the winter.   She has to put fresh grass in it everyday...

Melissa asked what she was going to name them...She said, "Kathy, Ginger and Melissa"...so it is!

20 years of We Bee Quilters...

How blessed are we?  I've known these ladies for 20 years...yes, I was a wee babe when we started meeting up monthly at each others homes.  Each year we go to Black Butte Ranch and the Sisters Quilt Show.  We've been through so much together.  I'm a better person knowing and being friends with each one of these amazing ladies...here's to the next 20...Yes, I'll be driving the special bus by the next 20, but it's ALL good!

Coolest piece of mail, EVER!!!

My Relay friend Robyn Berry sent my mom THIS pumpkin via USPS Priority Mail...it arrived yesterday. Didn't know you could MAIL a pumpkin, YOU CAN!!

Monday awesomeness...

Turned out to be another GORGEOUS day in the PNW!!! :)

After work/day care, Charlotte and I went to the library for some books/DVDs and a walk around the pond so I could take some photos of her (with my little point and shoot camera that I LOVE)...love this weather, still can't believe it's been so nice...YEAH for Fall!

Short school week and parent/teacher conference...

Charlotte only had school Monday/Tuesday this week. Tonight we had her first parent/teacher conference. It went well...no surprises. Charlotte loves school...she does have ants in her pants there too (no surprise). We had a good discussion with Mrs. Davis on things we can work on with her at home to help keep her challenged...we also got to see her writing journal and talk about her interaction with other kids. Mrs. Davis was surprised that she is an only child, she doesn't have typical traits of any only in the classroom (that's a good thing)...

Mrs. Davis is also expecting her first child, so we know that she will only be Charlotte's teacher through February. It's gonna be a very GOOD year for all of us!

Perfect autumn day...

After spending time with mom this afternoon...the kiddo and I took her bike and went to our small neighborhood park, then we went all the way to her school (about a mile away). We were gone for nearly 2 hours and it was wonderful...so nice to be outside and NOT getting rained on or freezing!
