We love Oregon...

Rachel and I took another painting class at Vine Gogh.  This time it was at the Sellwood location.  Definitely like Tigard best!  This one has not so great acoustics and when it gets semi-rowdy, which the group of 12 women near the front were, it was hard to hear, let alone think.  We still had a great time and love our paintings!  

Week 8...

Saturday & my Fitbit...

My birthday present to myself this year was a Fitbit Flex that I got at Bed, Bath & Beyond for 20% off!!  Love a good deal!

I had talked to a gal at work a few weeks back who has gotten healthy by walking her tail off and using her Fitbit to motivate her, even on the days that she doesn't feel like it, she's been hitting up to 15k steps a day!

I had it charged up and wearing it, but it wasn't until last week, when I sync'd up with a few of my Relay friends that I got serious.  Today I finished 7 days in a row of 10k+ steps!  

Saturday, 2/21/15, I dropped Charlotte off at her acting class in NW Portland and walked and walked and walked until 90+ minutes later I was back.  I did stop along the way to take a photos.  Such a beautiful day/weekend...hard to believe it's February!!!

Valentine's Day 2015...

Early morning Starbucks run, acting class, dropped the kiddo off at Marilyn's for a sleepover, tax appointment, dinner and then date night at Vine Gogh.

Did I mention standing in line for 50 minutes at Blue Star donuts this morning?

Victor and I went to Vine Gogh for Valentine's Day this year.  We did a couples painting, "Love birds" and had a great time!!!

Week 6...

Apparently I can't count days very well, so week 7 will be back to our normal 7-day schedule.

• Got to meet "THE" Larry Steele of the '77 NBA Championship Portland Trail Blazers!
• Mom got moved to her own room.
• I celebrated birthday 46!
• Life is GOOD!

Birthday weekend...

Had a great weekend!!  Saturday night Victor and I went to see Gabriel "Fluffy" Igelsias and he did NOT disappoint!!  Dinner at Jake's before the show and spent the night at the Sentinel, formerly Governor Hotel. Played tourist on Sunday and went to Kenny & Zuke's for breakfast, Powell's and Saint Cupcake for birthday goodies!

Picked up the kiddo from Rachel's and went to see mom, who was using her walker and trying to figure out if they had just had an earthquake or not...

Closer to 50 than 40 now and thankful for every single day!!
