Golden rule....

If you don' t have anything nice to say...DO NOT say it on your blog or Facebook!

My own personal rule...I will not post ANYTHING on my blog OR Facebook that I wouldn't want my mother reading...which includes negative comments of ANY sorts about other people.

I had an "ah-ha" moment this past Friday via FB...it wasn't directed directly at me, but my Relay Team's main fundraiser...a fundraiser each year that I'm VERY proud of...All I could think of saying to that person was OUCH...but instead, I took the high road and encouraged that Team to keep raising the bar to raise more money, like I always do....I hope that her posting what she did, me commenting (in a positive way), made her RETHINK positing future such comments and keeping them to herself OR sending a private message...I'm all about competition among teams...what I'm NOT cool about is putting another Team down in any capacity... :(

It's kind of like what I post on FB and this blog...no matter how crudy things might be, there is ALWAYS a bright side of nearly everything...my mom's crash is an example of that. I've tried not to focus on the negative and mom or our family being "the victim", but taking the high road and focusing on the good stuff...we are blessed and THAT is what I choose to focus on...

Off my soap box...no more energy will be spent on that FB post AGAIN!

Under the weather....

I've been sick since Monday night (it's just an irritating cold)...made it at work until 1pm...actually had a few folks contact me wondering "what's wrong with Kathy"...I haven't been on FaceBook and this photo of soup is the only photo I've taken since Sunday..I'll be back soon, hopefully this weekend since it's suppose to be PERFECT weather here in Portland...
