WOW--What a great day of classes!
This lady ROCKS in my book! I was lucky enough to take both Karen's photography class (was suppose to be 7 hours, ended up being 8 hours) this morning & afternoon. Then took her "Interactive
Scrapbooking Class" tonight. Poor thing had taught in Salem last night and didn't get much sleep, but she was GREAT!!!
She literally wears samples of what she's teaching during classes, so she can't lose what she's working on and she can take it right over to the students.

What totally cracks me up about the photo below....I had a gal in the morning photography class take the photo and it didn't dawn on me to actually "check" the photo she had taken (just assuming it looked great). She didn't zoom in on just Karen & I and the two gals to the right of us, kinda looking tired & out of it....these were the two very same gals who were so wired in the first class and kept asking Karen questions, great questions, then totally lost all steam by the end of the 2
nd class. They really were pooped, I just didn't realize how pooped until I saw this photo.

I also gave Karen's daughter Annie (who's 3 months older than Charlotte) one of the bee hats that I've been making. My only request was that I get a photo of Annie wearing it. Karen asked me if I sold them -- I told her that it wasn't my pattern (but I'd received email consent from the pattern designer -
Susan B. Anderson) to sell the hats for Relay For Life. Karen asked me if I had any to go (not yet), but she told me I should get some ready because if she posts a picture of Annie wearing the hat, she needed to be able to tell folks where they could purchase one.....So, I'm gonna try and whip some out over the next few weeks (in all my spare time--after Charlotte is asleep) and see what happens....All the profits will be going to Relay For Life, so I better get busy.
If you are into
scrapbooking and ever get the opportunity to take a class from this lady -- DO IT. She lives in Southern Oregon, but teaches all over the U.S. and out of the country AND she's terrific!!!
